Derby Day 2000

Every year a derby takes place at Epsom Races in Surrey. As well as watching the horse racing there are many other forms of entertainment at the event. Heart 106.2 FM host a road show on Epsom's Hill throughout the day. In the year 2000 my sister and I travelled up for the day to see Heather Small perform at the road show. She was promoting her first solo single and album. Heather sang two songs - Proud and Holding On. As usual she was fab and sung live (unlike some of the acts that day who mimed!).
